MEMBERS PRESENT:

MAY MINUTES:
Don Lockridge moved, Cheryl Freese seconded that
the May board meeting minutes be approved as submitted.
Motion passed.
FINANCIAL REPORT:
The bank account balance is $7,210.01.
The $34 withdrawal by the ARRL was because one member paid both
CVARS and ARRL dues to CVARS using the
"CVARS Membership Application" form in the CVARS "New Ham Kit".
John Campeau moved, Jim Pace seconded that
the financial report be approved. Motion passed.
SWAPMEET:
The amount of money to spend for door prizes was discussed.
John Campeau moved, Jim Pace seconded that John Ellingson
spend up to $300 for door prizes. Motion passed.
Door prizes will also be accepted from members and friends.
K7PG:
Bill Knepper asked about the status of updating the CVARS repeaters'
CW ID to K7PG. Question will be asked of Mike Payne and/or
Eugene O'Neill during the general meeting.
AMATEUR LICENSE TESTING:
Jim Pace reminded the board that the next test session is
Saturday, June 19 at 2 PM.

The June 2, 2021 ZOOM Video General Meeting was called to order by Bill Knepper at 7:00 PM.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Eugene O'Neill reported that he and Mike Payne had
technical issues with updating the K7PG repeaters'
Morse code id. They plan to try again soon.
- Bob Willey said this year's ARRL Field Day setup will be
at Don Lockridge's property, 105 Kennicott Dr, Chehalis.
Plans are to operate as K7CEM 5F WWA with stations on
6, 20, 40 and 80 meters and a digital station.
Riverside Fire Authority Chief Mike Kytta will speak
on "Fire Danger" at the pot luck dinner on Saturday, June 26.
- John Ellingson described arrangements for this year's Swap Meet
on Saturday, July 24. The Dairy Barn is not available this year,
but we do have the Old Judging Pavilion which is close
to the Dairy Barn and is paved.
