July 1, 2020 BOARD MEETING NOTES
ZOOM VIDEO MEETING CALLED TO ORDER: 1830
MEMBERS PRESENT: Bill Harwell, Chuck Verdon, Bill Knepper, John Ellingson, Jim Pace and Kevin Rasku.

JUNE MINUTES: Jim Pace moved that the June board meeting minutes be approved as written. Bill Knepper seconded. Board approved.
FINANCIAL REPORT: Bank Balance: $7,558.79.

VE TESTING: Jim Pace announced that an Amateur Radio License test session is scheduled for Saturday, July 18 at Mountain View Baptist Church, 1201 Belmont Avenue, Centralia. Room setup will start at 1:00 PM and testing at 2:00 PM. Seven VE's, including Jim, have volunteered for the session.
SWAPMEET: John Ellingson said the Dairy Barn, where we normally hold the Swapmeet, is not available this year. It will continue to be rented out for RV storage. We were offered the long, narrow building next to the Dairy Barn. It was paved last year. John wants to check the size of that space and how parking could be handled in it. The mood of the board was to go ahead with the Swapmmet. Postscript: When John checked with the fairgrounds on Thursday, he was told we could not have the Swapmeet since we expect more than 50 attendees and Lewis County is still in stage 3 because of the up ticks in Covid-19 cases. With that news, the board agreed to cancel the Swapmeet for this year.
CLUB EQUIPMENT: Dick Morrison (K7KFM) has been storing a beam antenna for the club and needs to have it removed from his property. Bill will announce the need during the grneral meeting.
K7PG: Bill Harwell continues to pursue having Gary Litteer's (SK) K7PG call sign assigned to CVARS.

MEETING CLOSED: 1909.
