APRIL MINUTES:
Approved.
FINANCIAL REPORT:
Bank Balance: $7,520.25.
The federal non-profit tax form (IRS form 990-N) has been submitted.
LIABILITY INSURANCE
James Van Ornum received a .pdf copy of the club's liability insurance policy
for the period of March 22, 2020 to March 22, 2021.
VE TESTING:
Jim Pace is waiting for Washington state to allow gatherings of 10 people
before scheduling an amateur radio license testing session.
K7PG:
Bill Harwell has received instructions from Maria Somma at ARRL headquarters
to change the club call sign to Gary litteer's (SK) K7PG.
SWAPMEET:
This year's Swapmeet is dependant on the fairground site being available.
FIELD DAY 2020:
We will revisit planning for this year's Field Day at the June board meeting.
CENTRALIA SUMMERFEST:
Jim Pace reported that the City of Centralia has cancelled this year's 4th
of July Summerfest celebration. The public fireworks show is still being reviewed.

May 6, 2020 PROGRAM NOTES
The May 6, 2020 ZOOM Video General Meeting was called to order by Bill Harwell at 7:02 PM.
Bill Harwell played a YouTube video of the Kentucky All State Choir singing
the National Anthem in the open atrium of an 18 story Hyatt hotel.
This is an annual event, so there are lots of videos to play.
FIELD DAY 2020:
Details for Field Day 2020 will be reviewed at the June CVARS meeting.
http://www.arrl.org/field-day is tracking this year's planning in light
of the coronavirus situation.
SWAPMEET:
Planning for our annual Swapmmet continues contingent on availability of the fairgrounds.
PROGRAM:
Norm Fusaro, W3IZ, ARRL Director of Operations,
talked about "The Future of Amateur Radio."
This was an expansion of Norm's editorial,
"Second Century - A Future Beyond Our Omaginations,"
published on page 9 of the April 2020 issue of QST.
The meeting adjourned at 7:56 PM. There were 22 people attending.
