REPEATER: Eugene O'Neill reported that on Saturday, December 28, he and Mike Payne went to the Baw Faw repeater site to update the repeater controller firmware.

They also disconnected the ham grade vertical that was being used as the receive antenna. Using the Telewave duplexer, the commercial grade dual folded full-wave dipole antenna is now used for both receiving and transmitting.

They continue to prepare to install a weather radio at the repeater to relay weather alerts. The question put to the board is which county alerts should be relayed.

WEYERHAEUSER SITE LEASE: Bill Harwell has received an offer from Weyerhaeuser for the first of five yearly extensions to the Baw Faw repeater site lease. The current lease covered 2/28/2019 to 2/27/2020. For $900, the lease can be extended to cover 2/28/2020 to 2/27/2021. The board unanimously approved the extension.

LIABILITY INSURANCE: James Van Ornum received a "Notice of Conditional Renewal" for renewing the liability insurance policy that expires on March 22, 2020. We expect to receive the renewal form around February 22, 2020. The board asked that James review the proposed changes with Jim Pace.
