The September 4, 2019 General Meeting was called to order by Bill Harwell at
7:30 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag followed by
people introducing themselves with their name, call sign, home town,
and what they would do if they went back to school.
The attendance signin sheets were passed around.
The death of Gary Litteer, K7PG, was announced.
There was no dissention to the board looking into changing the club callsign
from WA7UHD to K7PG in memory of Gary.
The September calendar,
which is available at http://cvars.org/, was presented.
During the "Leads & Needs" time, possible club activities were discussed.
Possibilities included hidden transmitter/bunny/fox/emergency locator transmitter hunts
and erecting towers.
The program, "ARRL Board Meetings," was presented by Michael Ritz, W7VO,
ARRL Northwestern Section Director.
Michael introduced the new Northwestern Division web site at
Register, using your callsign for your user name,
to post in the Forums.
Michael discussed 3 proposals for FCC rule making that are currently hot topics
in the Amateur Radio community:
