The April 3, 2019 general meeting was called to order by Bill Harwell at
7:30 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag followed by
people introducing themselves.
The attendance signin and CVARS Sunday Net Controller sheets were passed around.
The April calendar,
which is available at http://cvars.org/, was presented.
A representative from the SeaPac Convention recruited for security volunteers.
Bill Harwell announced a group order for Field Day T-Shirts at $17.95 each.
Bill Knepper, N7GWK, and Paul Barwick, KE7PCB, introduced us
to
Hamshack Hotline ,
a free dedicated VOIP telecom service for
Amateur Radio operators. This service uses SIP capable phone sets,
like the Cisco SPA-504G, many of which are being surplused and
available of several web sites. Asterisk is a software PBX, and FreePBX
is a graphical user interface for Asterisk.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 PM.
