The June 3, 2015 board meeting was called to order by Linc Haymaker at 1846. Board members present were Linc Haymaker, Eugene O’Neill, James Van Ornum, Teresa Haymaker, Reita Campbell, John Ellingson and Don McDougall.

The Baw Faw repeater hardware taken out of service on March 28 continues to be rejuvenated. The controller has been reset and is working. The digital voice recorder isn’t working, but it is not usually used. The transceiver has been checked and is OK. When the repeater hardware is reinstalled, we will try at add a separate receive antenna and a 220 MHz control channel. In the future we should consider switching to 440 MHz control channel. Mike Payne is the technical lead.

ARRL Field Day activities are Friday to Sunday, June 26 to 28. Chuck Verdon is coordinating the Centralia ARES and CVARS volunteers. CVARS is responsible for paying for the hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments and drinks as well as for the port-a-potty this year. Linc and Chuck were authorized to spend up to $150 for the food. There will be a hidden transmitter hunt again this year, and Linc will confirm that Jim Pace can get an ARRL book to use as the prize.

The CVARS 17th Annual Swapmeet on Saturday, July 25, is coordinated by John Ellingson. We need to have volunteer admission collectors at the gate since Rita and Larry Pratt have moved out of state. Teresa will look into creating a banner for the Baw Faw table.

April’s “Electronics Workshops” interest survey results and current planning is posted on the website. We are still looking for a reasonable location for the workshops.

Teresa reported a balance of $5,150.02 (an increase of $17.44 from May) in the CVARS checking account at Security State Bank as of June 1, 2015. There is $3,886.61(no change for May) in the Baw Faw account. We need to have a Baw Faw presence at the CVARS Swapmeet. Linc submitted a bill of $23.83 for coaxial connectors.

The board meeting was adjourned at 1932 by Linc Haymaker.

The June 3, 2015 general meeting was called to order by Linc Haymaker at 1933 with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag followed by people introducing themselves. The attendance sheets and CVARS Sunday 8PM Net Controller sheet were passed around.
