CVARS balance: $7,309.47; Baw Faw balance: $3,716.54

REPEATER STATUS UPDATE:

Mike has the radio; he is familiar with that, and is ready to go up to the site when a run up there can be made.  Eugene has a team ready to go when called upon to do tasks such as brush work, painting, and other maintenance work.  Lincoln Creek Lumber donated 4 gallons of paint.  CVARS members are encouraged to do business with that company, or at least thank them for the donation.

Nominations for the 2017 Board:

Open positions:  One-year terms for President, Vice President, and Secretary.  Also, two-year term for an at large member,  Eugene said he would not object to being elected President if nobody else stepped up.

CVARS Mission Statement:

James prepared a statement of "who we are" for possible interest by donors or new members.  Discussion of possible 501(c)(3) status touched on the possibility that people might donate more to CVARS if they could get a tax deduction.

CVARS E-Mail:

The server has been set up so that regardless of who holds the position, the address reflects the position @ CVARS rather than first names of individuals.  Stuff will be archived on the CVARS web site.

The meeting adjourned at 1905.

Respectfully submitted by

Paul Van Dyck, Secretary
