The CVARS WA7UHD Net meets Sunday at 8 PM local time on 145.430 MHz –offset, 110.9 Hz tone. Preamble is at: http://cvars.org/net_ctrl_form.html. Net controllers are:

June 1, 2016 MEETING MINUTES

 

The June 1, 2016 board meeting was called to order by Linc Haymaker at 6:45 pm. Board members present were Linc Haymaker, Eugene O’Neill, James Van Ornum, Veda Moline, Paul Van Dyck, Teresa Haymaker, and John Ellingson,

 

Treasurer’s report:      CVARS balance is $5,785.34, 6/1/16

Baw Faw balance is $3,861.54, 6/1/16,

·         Fairgrounds is still outstanding

·         Linc and Teresa are planning to move by August.

 

It was moved to pay for the gas for Mike Burton who came from Portland for May’s presentation. It was moved and seconded to pay Mike $20 for gas.

 

Board members are the only ones that our insurance will cover vehicles for trips to Baw Faw repeater site.

 

The insurance policy will be brought to the fairgrounds next week for the swapmeet.

 

Next month’s program AMSAT by Craig Bledsoe, KL4E.

 

The board meeting was adjourned at 7:15 pm by Linc Haymaker.

 

The June 1, 2016 general meeting was called to order by Linc Haymaker at 7:30 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag followed by people introducing themselves. The attendance sheets, CVARS Sunday 8PM Net Controller sheet, sign-up sheets for monthly refreshments were passed around.

 

Announcements included:

June 21 testing last chance for Extra to test on the current questions.

 

Program:

“Field Day”

 

The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 pm. There were 27 people registering their attendance on the attendance sheets.
