PRESIDENT’S CORNER

Hello all, hope this finds you all doing well, that you are fairing the winter weather so far this year. Now is the time that we all think about the up coming spring, putting up antenna's, working on some towers and putting a antenna or two together, so let’s be safe in doing so please.

Our Vice President has been busy working on new programs for the club meetings in the future such as digital presentations, talks on those old radio that glow in the dark, DX talks and many other exciting things.. Way to go Barbara ! !

James our secretary has been keeping me on track and helping me plan a few things as well, we seem to cross paths at many of the same events now days, hummm I'm starting to wonder.

I have been busy with many things, playing with old tube radio's thanks to John K7OSK, doing my duties on two ARRL committee's and keeping my digital system up and running along with all the honey does the XYL seems to come up with.

I'd like to thank John for the great presentation we had last meeting and look forward to Dick Morrison's presentation at the next meeting. Also a big thank you to all the board members in supporting the upgrade in funding for the repeater site.

If you’re out and about playing with antennas or working in the shack please be safe, we want to talk to you and not about you.

One added note, Bob Willey KD7OWN has had back surgery in the last week, we wish him God’s speed in recovery, please drop Bob a card and wish him well.

73,   Chuck Verdon, W5KAV
